The 25th Annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration was a huge success. Hosted by Mi Casa Restaurant, over 350 guests enjoyed an amazing buffet of gourmet mexican food, great tunes by Doc PJ and the Three Amigos, a wide arrray of items to bid on in the silent auction, and, of course, a few margaritas.
Proceeds come to the BOEC’s Willie Whalen Fund and we hope to have bought in $20,000. So far the talley is looking good to make that mark.
Many thanks to Dick Carleton, Tracey Roach, Julie Ludwig, and all the Mi Casa staff for making this such a fun and rewarding event. The proceeds greatly help the BOEC to deliver our services to people with disabilities and those in financial need. Also many thanks to BOEC staff and volunteers for pitching in.
We can’t wait until next year and the 26th Annual CInco de Mayo!
