Adaptive Cycling Program

Get outside to enjoy summertime in the Rocky Mountains with the BOEC’s Adaptive Cycling program! The BOEC offers group handcycling instruction and guided rides throughout Summit County and surrounding areas. Trips might include downhill rides from the top of Vail Pass, a trip through Glenwood Canyon, riding around Lake Dillon or the Mineral Belt Trail in Leadville. 

All rides meet at the BOEC’s Keystone Adaptive Center. Rates include road or mountain handcycle, fitting, safety equipment, instruction & assistance as needed, lunch and transportation to/from the ride if required.

Scheduled Group Rides are offered on select Saturdays throughout the summer (subject to a minimum of three riders), going to exciting destinations throughout the area.  Group Rides for the 2008 Season will be offered the following Saturdays:

June 14th

July  12th and 26th

August 9th and 23rd

September 6th

Guided Group Ride Rate: $40 per participant
