A week of paddling and camping in the pristine Boundary Waters of northern Minnesota. Beginning and ending out of the Dayton Lodge near Ely, participants will learn the basics of canoeing and camping, then engage in a four day expedition into the remote areas of Boundary Waters. Canoeing, safety, minimum impact camping, natural history and other topics will be covered. This is a true expedition for folks with special needs wanting to get away from it all and experience one of the great wilderness areas in the world.
