April Fools Ski Trip - Cost: $700

Like to ski? Join us for a light-hearted weekend of Tomfoolery, chock full of adaptive downhill skiing, the annual egg-drop contest, new and old friends, outright shenanigans and most important; fun! Based out of the BOEC’s Scott Griffith Lodge, this trip is for all individuals of all abilities, age 18 and older.

Ski Holiday Hiatus $750

This five-day camp is designed for adults with traumatic brain injuries and consists of adaptive skiing and riding, and fun staying at our Scott Griffith Lodge at the base of the Breckenridge Ski Resort.

Green River Trip - Cost: $800

Wednesday, October 1st, 2008

This camp is a week on the Green River of Utah through one of the most beautiful canyons in the west.  Participants will paddle canoes, camp on the river and explore this remote and exciting area.  Call for more information.

Alcon Adventure River Trip for the Visually Impaired

Adaptive Cycling Program

Get outside to enjoy summertime in the Rocky Mountains with the BOEC’s Adaptive Cycling program! The BOEC offers group handcycling instruction and guided rides throughout Summit County and surrounding areas. Trips might include downhill rides from the top of Vail Pass, a trip through Glenwood Canyon, riding around Lake Dillon or the Mineral Belt Trail in Leadville. 

All rides meet at the BOEC’s Keystone Adaptive Center. Rates include road or mountain handcycle, fitting, safety equipment, instruction & assistance as needed, lunch and transportation to/from the ride if required.

Scheduled Group Rides are offered on select Saturdays throughout the summer (subject to a minimum of three riders), going to exciting destinations throughout the area.  Group Rides for the 2008 Season will be offered the following Saturdays:

June 14th

July  12th and 26th

August 9th and 23rd

September 6th

Guided Group Ride Rate: $40 per participant
