Adaptive Ski Camp for Blind Athletes

Blind skierHave you always had an interest in learning how to ski?  Have you ever sat back and said, “I know I can do that.”  If so, then let the U.S. Association of Blind Athletes (USABA) and the staff of the Breckenridge Outdoor Education Center (BOEC) help you achieve your goal of learning how to enjoy life through skiing.  Space is limited to 18 participants.

Who’s Eligible to Attend?  USABA members.  Not a member?  Simply join USABA by going to and download the membership form; or simply call 719-630-0422 and speak to a USABA staff member about becoming a member.

What’s the Cost:  You pay to get there plus $100.  Cost covers 3 nights of lodging, all meals, ski equipment, ski instruction and lift passes.  Scholarship monies are available to USABA members to help offset some of the overall costs.  Additional monies may be available to selected Veterans and active duty service members.

To Qualify:  Open to all USABA members of all ages; space is limited to 18 USABA members (male and female) who are blind and/or visually impaired; first come first served; includes up to 4 veterans or active duty service members who have suffered an eye injury in Iraq or Afghanistan.
