Breckebeiner 60K Nordic Ski-a-thon

Join us for the annual Breckebeiner 60K Nordic Ski-a-thon & Snowshoe Bash, a benefit for BOEC at the Breckenridge Nordic Center. Participants ski/showshoe anywhere from 3km to 60km (or more!), raise money for a great cause and enjoy a fun celebration and party.

The Nordic ski course is held on intermediate terrain groomed for both skate and classic styles. An adaptive Nordic course will also be offered for those with special needs. Nordic criterion ski loops of 6 km and 3 km are marked, and a snowshoe loop of 3 km. For families with youngsters there is a 1 km snowshoe loop including a treasure hunt. Equipment rentals are available at the Nordic Center at a reduced rate for all participants.

Participants in the fundraiser can form a team or ski/snowshoe solo. The Breckebeiner 60K is not a relay, so your team can ski the groomed Nordic course together. We encourage you and the business community to seek additional pledges in support of your participation. Ask friends, family members and business associates to pledge $1 or more per kilometer you ski or snowshoe!  A number of contests and door prizes are featured. The top fundraisers are eligible for gift certificates and prizes.  All donations are tax deductible.

The Breckebeiner 60K is made possible through the generosity of Gene and Therese Dayton and the staff of the Breckenridge Nordic Center. All proceeds benefit BOEC.
